Not on the first try …

The most obvious approach isn’t always the best. This is one of my favorite logos, but I had to discard what would be the most expected symbol. I went through many attempts in order to come up with this one.

Project: Foundation for a Greener Earth logo design

My first set of logos used our planet as part of the logo. I eventually landed on the idea of using a leaf as a “green footprint” as a counterpoint to the concept of a carbon footprint. This was a fun and challenging project. Unfortunately the foundation never took off, so the logo was never used.
